Not acceptable for anyone to cheat period , but if cheating does occur in the relationship , it just depends on whether the non cheater will take them back or not , it’s up to the non cheater to make that decision , the ball is pretty much in their court unless the cheater decides to just leave them , I know girls’ that cheated on their husbands , and some of the husbands’ took her back , and I know husbands’ that cheated and their wives took them back and some that didn’t , so it mainly comes down to that relationship and as to why cheating occurred in the first place. That can only be explained between the both of them no one else

The impact is different between genders. Fidelity is a token of love for both genders and breach of it a betrayal for both. So equal in those respects

Female infidelity means the man may not be the father and his resources are not going on his progeny.

Male infidelity can mean there are fewer resources for the female. If the male impregnates another female the male cannot force the child on the wife as the female can upon the husband.

So highly unequal consequences there. The major impact would be reduced household income due to child support in the worst case. If the man has large income there might be inconsequential impact.

Yep. I am an incredibly emotional person. I cry over almost everything. However, I've had a female prime minister and she fulfilled her role of power well. She lead the people and they respected her.
Yes, it is in the masculine nature to seek out higher rankings on the social hierarchy. Yes, they naturally perform well in positions of power because of general gender differences, as sighted by Deborah Tannen's 'rapport and report' psychological studies. However, just because a man has testosterone, doesn't mean a woman can't lift weights. Just because a woman has ovaries doesn't mean a man can't be a capable parent. There are many, many examples of people breaking out of their own gendered, biological expectations. To women aren't capable of leading in politics is an ignorant statement using biological assumptions and taking them to extreme conclusions.

I've said it before and I'll say it some more -- relationships are inherently designed to make it more convenient for the female to engage in extramarital/extracurricular sexual relationships, and when women cheat, it generally helps the relationship. On the other hand, when the guy is unfaithful, it can only result in problems, in my opinion.

It depends on what you mean by "more acceptable." It seems to be the case that more men would consider a women cheating to be a relationship-ending event whereas there are more women that are willing to forgive it so long as the guy is still dedicated to them. It certainly seems to be the case that guys can have sex with another girl and not really be interested in leaving their partner for her.
