Guys, should I walk away from a guy who keeps texting me but hasn't asked me out even after I suggested getting together?

A guy and I have been texting each other for almost two months. We had lunch, coffee, and hung out (not a date) last month, but he still hasn't asked me out yet. I recently asked him to go watch a sports game together, but he preferred watching a different sports game, which was our mutual hobby. In any case, he still hasn't suggested getting together. At this stage, he knows that I want to see him again. Is he not interested in me? If so, why does he keep texting me? I'm thinking to stop responding to him and walk away..

Yeah, seems kinda weird that he keeps texting you but still hasn't asked you out on a legit date yet after like 2 months. Usually guys will make a move way sooner if they're really feelin' a girl.

I'd say at this point he might just like having you around to text whenever he's bored or something but doesn't really see you that way. Or maybe he's just super shy/slow to make a move, but c'mon it's been long enough!

Personally if I were you I'd start slowing down replying to his messages and see if he steps it up at all. Give him less attention until he puts in some effort. If he doesn't ask you out within like a week or two of that, then I'd say bail for good bro. No need to waste your time on a dude who's not following through after making you wait so long already. You deserve better than that!

Might be tough cause you probably like him, but better to cut bait now than drag it out and get more attached to someone who's obviously not as into it. Lots more fish in the sea and all that. You'll find someone worth your time, I'm sure!
