How can I get a guy to ask me out?

I have this guy coworker that I’ve been really into for a while now. I can tell that he is attracted to me too by the signs of it and I have him on social media too. However, he’s never asked to hang out outside of work or has ever messaged me first.
At work we just talk about work related things and about coworkers, but not much about our own lives. I’m guessing that he’s either not that into me to ask me out, or he’s scared to make moves since we’re coworkers. But I really want to hang out with him outside of work and get to know each other more (even as friends first).
At work we vibe so well and even my coworkers and some customers have said how we would suit each other so well. Could you guys give me some ideas on what I could do. Or like an indirect way to ask him to hang out without me making it obvious? 😭

Talk to him. Tell him you like him and wanna hang out. The worst thing that could happen is he says he’s not interested. At least you’ll know the answer
