Basically I’m done trying to talk to this guy. It’s not going anywhere, but when I try to ghost I keep giving in and texting. I wanna send a message saying it’s been nice talking, I don’t think it’s going anywhere. The only problem is I’ve given him an out before we met and also brought up not talking anymore like 2 months ago but he apologized and explained himself. I don’t wanna come off like I just always throw out that statement, but I really just need to hold myself to not talking to him

Well. Ghosting someone is cowardice. Don’t ghost someone. Be direct and tell him how you feel. Tell him you don’t wish to speak to him anymore and that you don’t feel this is going anywhere. Sure legally speaking you don’t HAVE to tell him why.

If he keeps bothering you after you told him kindly that you don’t wish to keep speaking to him. At that point just block him. But don’t leave him in the dark. Tell him not to contact you anymore and explain why, even if you don’t want to explain it. Be direct.

At this point, I'd keep it simple. No need for the whole speech about where it's going - he already knows since you tried cutting him off before.

Just send something like "hey, been thinking and I'm gonna focus on myself for a bit. Take care!" And then BLOCK him before he can reply! Outta sight, outta mind.

These type of guys slip back in cause they know you'll bite. But you're too good for that! Hold YOURSELF accountable without explaining - just hit send and wash your hands of the whole thing.

I promise you'll feel so much lighter without him lurking around. Soon you'll be crushing on someone actually willing to commit to your fine self. You got this girl!
