Guys, does this sound like I was complaining?

I worked until 5:30 today and then had a meeting for an organization today at 6:30, and the meeting ran longer than expected. So I get home and get a text from my boyfriend asking how my day was. I just answered succinctly “Long lol. I barely had time to eat my dinner before going to that meeting”. He just answered “poor you, so much. When you’re doing 15/16 hour days then complain but until then quit complaining!” He works long hours so I feel like he might have been lashing out but honestly I was a bit annoyed by the comment (not going to confront him tonight because I don’t want to start an argument). I never said it was bad, just long. I told him he’d know if I was complaining because I’d be cursing and saying how aggravated I was. Also, I joined the organization that had the meeting on my own volition so I definitely wasn’t complaining.

I intend to tell him the comment pissed me off when I’m not upset anymore (if I do it now I might say something I’m gonna regret), but before I do I want to get reactions and find out if: 1.) I’m being irrational, 2.) I really did accidentally sound like I was complaining or 3.) he’s just overwhelmed with his own work schedule and taking it out on me. Thanks.
