Guys, If you were talking to a girl and you found someone better, would you just ghost and not respond to her texts anymore?

No, always never thought in terms of "better/worse" like this. If I ever broke things off with a girlfriend, it was because I didn't think we could work out, not because I found someone "better".

Also never ghosted except one time after an extremely bizarre first date. It was immature but she freaked me out.

The better/worse idea never registered with me since I have a "compatibility" mindset. I dated women to determine if we're compatible, and only one at a time, so there is no way a new woman could be better since I hadn't dated her yet.

That sounds horrible to me. I don't honestly know how people can do that. I get if you are just the talking stage then it is ok to pick someone else but at least have the courtesy to tell them that it isn't going to work for you.

We did have a talk about it, but then he called me at 3 a. m. wanting to see me so I thought we were back on. But then I text him the next day and he never responded. Maybe he was drunk and regretted it, but even so why can't he respond to my text?
