I'm not asexual and I do understand that getting a woman pregnant almost always ruins a man's life these days. As long as he's living in the better part of the Western hemisphere, that is. It's not that bad in the East, You see.

Do they even want kids? Menopause doesn't usually start until around 50 so she still has time, but if they plan to have kids soon and are ready to put in the effort to raise them then sure they should have kids soon.

Even in that case, she has 5 years left. That's a long time if you just want 1 baby. I don't think it's that different before menopause though even in your 40s, unless you already had difficulties when you were younger. It's maybe a 5% difference in chance of complications (like miscarriage) but I think its even less than that on average. Unless I'm very misinformed, which is possible. I read it in some medical article, but that was years ago, so maybe they know more now.
