Me & boyfriend are invited to a birthday party. today he invited a couple which are are his airbnb guests to the party. isn't this rude?

I mean this couple are a complete strangers to the birthday party host and my boyfriend just invited them over. I think this is rude and something he shouldn’t have done. he didn't ask for my opinion also and told me only after he invited them.

what do u guys think? is it just me thats overreacting or what?

Did he ask the host? If he asked them and they gave them the okay, I don’t see an issue. Parties are meant to be social and not closed off.

We confirmed to the host few days ago that we will come. But he didn’t ask the host about inviting others.
He invited this couple first then he said he’s gonna ask the host if it’s okay for them to attend.

If the host says yes, I don’t see an issue. You are making someone else’s party about yourself and what you wanted from the situation vs the actual fact that a party is meant to be social and not for you to be latching onto your man the entire time.
