***Anyone Who Knows My Story, We Split Up in September 2022 Because I------Called That Shot. Kept in Touch During The Time I even Vented To Him and On Our Fifth Year Anniversary, Valentine's Day, This Mont, We Got Back Together. However, It's Kind of Different This Time. He is Calling The Shots. Any Kind Thoughts? lolxxoo

Oh Paris, I can only tell you from a personal point of view. Every happy relationship I've been in has been a mix of both calling the shots, and the other agreeing with a good heart. Sometimes she would to make a decision, and sometimes me.

I'm so sorry, but I don't think you should go back into this relationship as by your own admission, you are already seeing it as a struggle for power! Those relationships are destined for failure because they are more about the challenge to one another than being stronger together

Going back with an ex is almost always a mistake but if you do want to try it again, obviously something needs to be different or you will get the same result as previously.

Not all ex's are bad and if you can work things out, you can have a delightful future. As for him calling all the shots now, can you live with it or does it bother you? If it does bother you, express your feeling and thoughts. Don't go with it cause your back. If it doesn't bother you, whats the issue? I'm sure you thought it through before getting back with him.
