Feel like women can’t get past my looks?

Not trying to point the finger, I can own my faults and mistakes. I admit, I’m not a chiseled alpha “top G”. I’m a tall but large guy in my early 30s. I’m educated, have a respectable job that I’m growing with, I’m very handy with DIY projects, and have a good set of values. I just feel like I get passed up purely by my looks, even through women I’ve know through work or school always say “you’re such a great guy, any girl wild be lucky”. I’ve heard that so much it’s become basically meaningless to me. Online dating was a massive failure for me, tried multiple apps. Even when I go out places and try to talk with people I get a lot of cold shoulders or when I offer a casual and polite “Hi how are you?” I get forced friendly smile and a b-line escape.

Please don’t just offer the “drop some pounds and get in shape” trust me, I’ve been fighting that battle for a long time and even when I was making serious strides, it didn’t make a difference. Needless to say, my lack of luck has destroyed my confidence and I just feel like I’m going nowhere and ready to tap out of trying to find a relationship, even though I really would love a family of my own.

An average looking guy that is very good at building attraction can do as well or better than a chiseled Chad that isn't as good at doing so. Therefore if you focus on that area, you will see things improve. In fact, even if a man is overweight, but is very good at building attraction, he will do well. When a woman says stuff like ''you’re such a great guy, any girl wild be lucky” it means you have shown your good qualities without building sexual tension to complement it. That is why they talk about how some other woman will see you. Most women don't understand that they are only attracted to men who build attraction (there are exceptions). I remember this woman told me about this guy she was crazy about. I pointed out some of the different things he had done to build attraction and she had no idea!

I’m sorry to hear your confidence is down. Work on that first. Confidence is key, confidence radiates energy more than looks. Maybe strike up some conversations with girls in a setting with mutual friends with no expectations. A lot of relationships begin naturally, nobody was looking for anything.

You are focusing on all the wrong things. Most women couldn't care less that you are tall.

I really do appreciate your input. But, even if I take height out of the equation, there are 5 other elements of myself I mentioned.
-educated
-full time job
-good values
-handy
-kind/good guy
Why don’t any of those not seem to be enough?

The issue is you lack confidence. When women tell you "you'd be a real catch for any girl", but they don't want you... this is a female patronizing you when she senses your weakness.

The key is to be your own man. Women admire and desire a man who has drive and a life without them.
