Why are women so delusional about their looks?

I agree. She’s not unattractive but that guy is definitely out of her league looks wise. And no I’m not “homo” to say that. He likely took that pic with her just to be nice/friendly/cool. Either that she has something else going for her (she’s rich and he’s isn’t). But even that is much more rare then vice versa.

Anyway women are weird with about this. Some are under confident about their looks despite being at least semi attractive. Others are way over confident about their looks when they are just say…. not exactly supermodels.

My theory is they are trying to mimic overconfident yet average looking men who occasionally pick up hot women. I do credit where credit is due on that for those average looking guys. But that doesn’t usually work that way vice versa unless the good looking guy is very under confident and lonely.

However it doesn’t hurt for an average looking woman to be confident. If that helps her get through her day then then great. I can respect that.

However again it most likely will not make her score attractive men the same way as vice versa. That’s not most guys notice right away. Fair or not we are just more visual. Girls can’t be delusional about that.

Because society has told women they’re perfect, they don’t need to change. A lot of it starts at home. Society treats women like babies. Many of them can’t accept the truth of what men think, how life is. As for the pic, guess he just liked her for whatever reason. Maybe she’s really good to him. Maybe he was in relationships w hot women who didn’t do much. A lot of women who are “hot” feel as they don’t have to do much in a relationship because they could easily dump the dude then pick from a million other men who are waiting in line to get w her.

I honestly don't know what you're looking at to say that.

Objectively, they both have symmetrical faces and close to the golden ration for facial measurements. Scientifically, those are the main points most humans use to define beauty. So, they are equally good looking at the starting base points.

That means we all have to fall back on subjective ideals.

Subjectively, I hate forehead wrinkles, and I don't prefer the shape of his forehead. They both have chins that are way too big. He has a unibrow. I don't like her jawline or his ears.

So, I would rate them both at about a 6.5? Leaving half a point for error. That's not much. They would both have to have really great personalities for me to want to date them.

Sex appeal is highly reliant on your culture, how you were raised, what you were told is attractive, and your individual genetics. Your genes and upbringing say he is attractive to you and she isn't. That does not mean other people's genes and upbringings agree.
