There is certainly no harm in asking around if your friends know anyone that would be a good match. That has heppened in my circle of friends before. Someone was single and someone else knew a girl she thought would be a good fit. It ultimately didn't work out longterm but you never know until you try. I certainly would help someone out if I really thought I knew a good fit. I don't really like playing matchmaker but if I am pretty sure they would get along I would at least suggest it to one of them and then let them run with it if they wanted to. So I see no problem at least asking. Just don't count on it working. Not everyone wants to be in the middle of something like that.

Sure! I've played matchmaker before. I'll never forget when it was finally time to introduce them to each other. We met at a restaurant, and the second he walked in the door and their eyes met, they treated me like I wasn't in the room anymore so I went home.

They were seeing each other for about a year and he wanted to get married and have kids. So he got married and didn't tell until after he was married. Boy was she shocked!
I think he set a timeline in his own head for her, and she passed the timeline so he married someone else.

Well everyone is liable to meet a partner in 1 of many ways but the 3 most common are work, family/friends or hobbies.

Definitely! Asking your friends for help in finding a date can be a great idea. They might have some insights, suggestions, or even know someone who could be a good match for you.
Plus, friends can provide support and encouragement throughout the dating process. Just remember to communicate your preferences and boundaries so they can help you in a way that feels comfortable for you.

That’s all the things in having friends for most people!
However if you’re introverted, then speaking to your associates, family annd acquaintances can be an exhausting task on your to-do-list. In that case, learn about human psychology “the study of the mind and human behavior. There are a variety of approaches to the study, which include biological, psychodynamic, behavioral, cognitive, and humanistic psychology. https://www. edx. org “. Otherwise, go ahead and try something with your friends

Statistics do say friends are a very helpful ally. Workmates are another.

Doesn’t have to be an open convo. Just get together with them and you’ll find them trying to set you up.

Wouldn't support that idea. Like if this doesn't work out, they might be funding date after date after date... you also don't have to pick something expensive as a date.

yea, nothing wrong about that, if they straight up bully you because of it, they're not really your friends

Sometimes it’s good idea to ask your friend and sometimes it’s not because you might not like their opinion or outcome so it’s half and half

Nine times out of 10 that doesn’t work out too well, and if your friends know a girl, you’ll probably know her as well.
