What to do when someone believes I am his fate?

Question

He has believed it since 2019, when we met each other in very peculiar circumstances and he has asked me to marry him and believes I am his Fate.

Now, he is not in China, lives in Europe, but everytime we talk and I mention I am seeing someone, he says

“I don’t mind. You’ll still come back to me. We are each others’ fate.”

What the hell lol

Does he really believe I am his fate or is he trying to manipulate me into thinking we are?

He’s delusional. I met someone like that guy too. I was into him for about six years but for many reasons we never been in a relationship thank God but he’s always been obsessed with him. I was in a relationship with someone else a few years ago and remember him telling me once ‘when you break up with that guy we can get back together’ he also used to say things like ‘I know you have feelings for me even if you say you don’t’ I was already over him and genuinely didn’t feel anything for him anymore. I eventually had to cut him off my life and blocked him everywhere. I’m married now but I have the feeling that if I got in touch with him again he would still say the same sh*t and try to get with me. Some men just can’t accept that when we move on we move for good.

I find that creepy personally. Fate is fine when both sides feel it together. When one side is convicted on it, and without asking or looking to how the other side is feeling about it, it becomes deviceive. in my opinion.

I honestly suspect he will be telling any girl the same line. I would say, what you do, is not to trust him.

Fate happens, thats for sure. Though just because it happens doesn't mean we are completely under its spell (so to speak). Fate is not somethign to beleive or disbelive, its just a fact of all our lives that in the end, fate will decide who we end up with. Not believing in fate is good, it means your making your own.

One day, you may meet someone who you both agree your future is fated. That's a nice day in my opinion :)
