What to do int his situation if I want to want to grow this relationship into something more serious?

Hey so I met him while traveling. We clicked very fast, tho at first we did not want to do something serious because we were going thought breakups (which happened 6 months ago for both of us). Though we started to like each other a lot, had 3 dates in 2 days and then eet again in 2 weeks, went to a trip together too. So we really liked each other, it was also the best sex of my life. We had it a lot. All the issues I had previously disappeared. He sees me someone he can settle down, and have a relationship with, but he is hesitating for now. Also, we agreed on open relationship for as long as we are long distance. What do you think I should do to grow this casual relationship into a serious one? I like him, but I feel like I need to make smart choices. He is open to that, but wants to take it slow. What would be your advices?
