I had a girl tell me it was better to have nothing in common and that it would give you more to talk about. But logically wouldn’t having more in common be better? I’d feel like having a lot of shared interests would give you more to talk about an more things you could do together rather then very little. But then they do say opposites attract so have you had better experiences with girls you share a lot of interests with or better with girls you haven’t? Especially when it comes to conversation?

Some of my closest friends I have nothing in common with, but we can talk all day every day about anything and everything. We often say "Why are we friends?" But there is something more. Common happiness, humor, strength and weakness + some. If I've learned anything from these friendships it's there is much more to relationships than sharing movies, books and hobbies. When you click with someone. You click. Don't question it. Enjoy it.
Not having common interests doesn't have to be a deal breaker. Ideally you want someone who's open minded and willing to learn about the things you're passionate about, and someone who can introduce you to new interesting things.
