If they are trying to force you to have sex, that's really attempted rape, and a huge problem.

The reason being is that, when we were younger we kind of test the waters to see what works for us. Our hormones /impulses don't always lead us to healthy situations.

I'd probably say no. I think it's best to not rush into things like that in a romantic relationship. Best to take it slow and take time. I've had quite a number of women try to have sex on the first date. Usually a sign the date went really well. Those were great. There were a couple who were wholly incapable of reading the room.
