Is it normal for a man to demand commitment after one week of knowing eachother?

met this guy, first day of talking i mentioned i was chatting to other guys (3) and he said that’s okay and doesn’t mind.

we meet up and he seems very adamant about physical intimacy but also lovebombing me, felt to the point like i was being drowned in attention and felt like it wasn’t 100% genuine.

i like this guy he’s attractive to me and i feel something but i’ve told him i also like others too and that i’m open for anything and not really seeking anything serious, but if it happens then it happens (a relationship). he says that’s totally okay and that he understands completely since we had only been talking for 5 days, still trying his hardest to win me over.

we were out drinking one night with all our friends and me and my friend went an asked a guys instagram (who apparently was his friend but we had no clue since he wasn’t even in the group and we spotted him from afar, he did give us his instagram).

the guy i was talking to told me he thinks it’s not okay and that he doesn’t “need to speak to 50 women to decide who to be with”.

i thought if you aren't really seeking a partner or anything it’s normal in the FIRST week of talking / hanging out that it was okay? why should i feel like i should commit after 1 week…. ? we should be getting to know eachother not planning something serious ASAP, he also knows i’ve never been in a committed relationship before. i also expressed it to him beforehand multiple times and he seemed okay, i also realised he got mad and left me when i declined his sexual offers so early into knowing eachother.
