Most people are honest. -- Striaightforward. Fewer. Most people don't face problems directly, or give direct information or do direct confrontations.

Women don't play any more "stupid games" than men do. Either sex can withhhold information or say one thing and mean another.

It's acording to how one is raised and whether a person has ulterior motives of some kind.

Ultimately it IS about honesty, and it often takes time to find out who a person truly is, what they mean, and what they want.. I say, take your time in relationships. Most folks can't keep up a front forever.

To be honest I feel rejected so I distance myself from guys for that reason if I don’t talk or get involved nothing can happen to me. Just really guarded right now. If a woman for any reason is unhappy and decided on a whim to file for divorce courts will grant her half the man's possessions and a chunk of his money and income for life. Which is why marriage is plummeting at least to American women. Many many are instead electing to either remain single or to look for foreign women to marry. Foreign women generally do not believe in divorce, they are far superior to American women as they are more feminine, they dress feminine and not in revealing clothes. They want a family. They want a husband to love and care for. They want to be stay at home mothers. And much more. I married such a foreign woman and we have an amazing life. Meanwhile many of the men I have met that married American women absolutely hate life now but would rather stay married than divorce because they going to be left with nothing if they divorce

@MushyKiwi makes you rare. And unfortunately fewer and fewer men are willing to risk it. Here is the second issue and this is the worst part. Heard this first hand from a wonderful woman who wanted a divorce from her husband. They didn't have an issues they just realized they were no longer in love with each other and couldn't find their way back to center. So they went to do a divorce. Her divorce attorney asked her what he did wrong and how much she wanted. She said nothing and no money. Her attorney refused to do the papers unless she asked for some amount of money. This went on for a year and they both just decided to not bother with the divorce. They bought a second house and she moved their and they both lived as if single because she refused to destroy him for a divorce. So even if you wouldn't high likelihood the courts will force you to accuse him of something so they can extort as much money out of him as possible.
