Why do some women play games with guys?

Why do some women constantly tease make fun of guys or give them a hard time even though they have no interest in them whatsoever for instance they may tease a certain guy constantly and then say when the guy is out of earshot that its fun/funny to tease this person

Because guys often play those games with women unless that is how they are naturally. Also guys let them get away with it without consequences. You call it flirting. Also, their bullies. Sometimes it's just a bit of a vicious cycle. I've seen girls talk about this, where they say that they've had guys play games with them and then it fucks them up a bit, where they think it's fun to do the same to other guys as some kind of revenge. It makes no sense really to punish other guys for it, but that's what it often is.

It's also an ego boost for them I guess, especially if they're insecure or damaged in some way. Mentally stable, confident, secure women don't do this.

The guys they want play games with them, cheat on them, reject them or whatever, then they feel like shit in themselves. So they enjoy the attention from guys they're less interested in and try to keep that attention, but because they're not genuinely interested in the guy and have no intention of actually doing something with him they just toy with him.
