Why are some women so picky about a man's hobby?

Because partners usually want to enjoy their hobbies together. I dont have interest in playing videos games more than like one month a year. And aside from 3 anime shows from the past, I dont really find that genre/artwork interesting enough to watch more. So i prefer we be on the same page so that we can enjoy the hobbies together during our quality time moments

I've dated gamers who claimed they could just play alone or with friends but each always spent the second month of the relationship trying to drag me into playing with them daily or weekly. The way i personally see it, This isn't elementary/high school/college anymore. I enjoyed that stuff back then. Not now

I’m not picky, I’m actually happy if he does things he loves. It will keep him motivated and in a good emotional state. So as long as he is good, I’m good. Even if his hobby is to jump off planes, I will worry about him but I won’t stop him.

I don't mind if a guy plays video games, as long as there's a balance and he's not neglecting other things just because he's playing a fricking game.
Like, a few hours at the end of the day, I'm fine with that. But if all they want to do is play video games all day and all night, I'm going to get tired of that real quick.
