  We'd chatted online and on the phone for a few weeks and I just knew. At the end of the evening the first day we met up I told her how I felt and asked her to marry me.
  
  She said yes and we got married about a year later. That's just over 20 years now.
  
  I wouldn't recommend it, but it worked out for us.
