Men need to raise their standards and women need to lower theirs?

Women already do lower them. They just pretend having high standards in front of men they want to try to make "work" to win her over. All these women out here chasing after low life men they know are bad for them, or hooking up with this or that guy without much effort are not raising their standards. Nor were they high to begin with.

I can’t lower my standards. I know I’m not deserving of what I really want, but that doesn’t mean I’ll settle, especially on some witch who, if she has a conscience at all, is able to switch it off when dealing with me. If that means going without like I always have anyway so be it.
