Why do my mum said do not expect any from men but I'm said I never expect anything from men since they some men are trash?

I never expect as nothing from men from my previous experience with some men were cheater, lying bastard's and one player. I know some men are trash and they should stay in trash pile for forever for my own experience with some men.

Hmm that's a weird thing for your mum to say tbh. Like yeah you shouldn't go into relationships expecting the guy to do everything for you or treat you like a princess or whatever. But you also shouldn't just expect all men to be trash.

Your past experiences with some crappy dudes definitely give you a right to be more cautious now. But that doesn't mean you should write off all men or go into things thinking they'll screw you over. Everyone's an individual, so there's still good ones out there too who will treat you with respect.

My advice would be, don't assume the worst but don't assume the best either at first. Keep your guard up a bit until a guy proves he's legit and really cares about you. Give people a chance but watch for any red flags. And don't ever let any guy make you feel like you "owe" them something just cause they're nice - you gotta want it too. You'll find someone worth your time eventually who won't prove to be trash!

Hey I get where you're coming from. After bad experiences it's understandable to feel cynical about men. But I don't think it's fair to write off an entire gender based on some jerks. Yeah some guys suck, but there are good dudes too who will communicate openly and respect your feelings.

Reading body language isn't perfect, sometimes people aren't even aware of what they're really feeling. And being direct doesn't always come easily to everyone, some are shy or unsure how to express themselves. That doesn't mean they don't care.

Maybe give certain guys a chance to prove themselves before judging. A lot of us are still learning how to have healthy relationships. As long as they're willing to listen and treat you with kindness, might find someone worthwhile.

I know it's scary putting your trust in anyone after getting burned. But locking your heart away forever won't make you happy either. When you meet the right person, you'll know - and it'll be worth opening up to love again. Try to have some faith, and remember your worth isn't defined by men. You'll get through this!
