Yes, I firmly believe it because I am aiming at staying single.

I have my reasons and I don't regret not being in a relationship, to fornicate and to be cheated on. That seems to be the rule more than anything else nowadays in our very superficial society.

I have goals in my life and those goals and aims do not involve being in a relationship. There are plenty of other relationships that will fail after a number of years and so why should I join that club of unhappy people? Also my health is more important than to catch some venereal diseases being in a relationship.

I lacked self-confidence for many years and even questioned my sexuality. Due to this at your age I had literally lost count of random encounters and thought I was going to be single forever. Took some years to overcome the self-confidence and took additional number of years to find my wife and settled at the age of 37. It will happen if you don't lose hope and keep putting yourself out there.

As for you, just start doing it and use common sense. It is fine if it's awkward or you do something weird as long as it is not too much. You'll learn from experience and realize it's not that big of a deal. Also, the answer will always be "no" unless you ask.
