What kind of home do you prefer living in?

I prefer apartment in Sweden due to several reasons. One is because most months of the year its cold and boring and hence living in an apartment you don’t have to think about garden works, heating, etc. Second reason is because unlike other parts of the world, in Sweden, the government imposes a lot of laws and restrictions as to what you can do and not do with your own house. You can’t for instance colour it the way you want unless you seek permission. You can’t rebuild the house or build a ventilation system unless you seek permission etc. Even re-doing your own bathroom needs permission. Third, you are forced to pay a bunch of municipality charges for garbage collection, water, road cleaning service etc. You must clean the snow from the front of your house, on the public street, so that the postal service and garbage collector can smoothly do their work. Otherwise, you will be charged extra for it.

In an apartment, usually cold water is included in the rent and the radiators are controlled by the housing complex who usually keeps it around 21 degrees. When winter kicks in, you usually just enjoy your time indoors and don’t bother what’s going on outside. Municipality must take care of the rest.

Apartment or condo. Preferably at least the 4th floor. There are fewer entry points to the home and people can’t just climb in my window. I feel more secure.

I love the apartments in Korea. Need the access code to get in the building & you can see people right out side the building or your unit on the video intercom thing. The doors were sturdy AF with at least 3 locks.

A decent looking/comfortable house for sure. But apartments aren't bad in the meantime. Lol who the heck voted for being homeless? 🤣

I prefer a ground-floor townhouse. Somebody else (the HOA) takes care of building and grounds maintenance. And ground floor makes it easy to get around... no stairs.

Anywhere that's small where I can have my own space for myself and can manage financially ok. In the future I'll be sent into an apartment, but I think a tiny house would be great, as I am petite.

In a perfect world, I'd live in a nice 2,000 square foot cabin home in a pretty, tree filled rural area.

But they're super expensive, cause I'm not the only one who wants to get out of the city and have freedom to do as I please with my own property😔

This house. But at $80 mil, a little out of my price range. It is 25,000 sq ft and has an 8,000 sq ft. garage. I wonder who does their windows? 🤑🤑🤑

The one I have now. A house on the green countryside, not far from the city. Secluded enough for peace and quiet but not too secluded as to be in the middle of nowhere.
