This is similar to a question asked by @FinalFantasyBro: Men and Women, if you guys and girls can become your very own homeowners which sort of property would you prefer to be the owner of? Feel free to list any reasons you want for why you would prefer a certain type of housing. You could even answer in a pro-con format if you'd like.
House with big yards, doesn't have to be grass but nice big yards and fences make for friendly neighbors, vs. being smashed so close together I can climb out a window and right into the neighbors window.
No privacy that way, can't have curtains open to let light in without seeing right into the neighbors.
I have that, and there is solutions to all the maintenace... to make it fun, huge back yard with big lawn, zero turn lawnmower... me driving around like crazy having fun while mowing.
Winter time for snow removal, plow with an ATV... push it if I feel like, or just leave the snow there... not required to clear snow if I don't want to.
Best part is I don't have to hear neighbors jumping up and down upstairs or humping the wall next door.

I am happy with anything and anywhere. I am not picky. I can live in a shoe box, a high rise, city, suburbs… etc.
we are in a one level 3k sq. ft. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms house. 2-3 acres. The hubby likes to do yard work/gardening … all good with me.

The flat I am in now. It has 7 closets, 1 been in my room 5 in the corridor and another in the Livingroom. Not having stairs is a blessing 2nd floors now suck tbf I've been the same way with buses sitting upstairs often makes no sense to me. There is a small spare room which could be a good study if my mum wasn't in it lol. Just need to kick her out and this be a great home. The only negative is a neighbour is living above but she also takes out the bins for us as she also said she did for the last people here which is great.
I would also like a bungalow since that's pretty much the same just without a neighbour above you.

We live in a two story ranch style house, with a pool, 10 miles from town on part of the ranch that I grew up on. The creek where my friends and I used to ride our horses and 4 wheelers and swim is across the road from us. We have a shop for my husband, woods, creek, pond and a pasture, I am a true country girl.
High density, net zero emission build, with small balconies capable of supporting gardens.
Located in an urban centre, close to farmer's markets and amenities, public transit, and ideally surrounded by green spaces.
Miss me with suburbia car centric bullshit.I think it would be cool to live in a castle for one week or to rent an aquarium for half a day, that’s what I would do if I was rich, when it comes to houses, I prefer formal, traditional and elegant over trendy and avant- garden, so a red wooden banister, black bathroom tiles, a while or beige coloured couch, and a classic looking table is what I want.
I really like where we’re at, but I could certainly use even more acreage and scenery. A large house, so that I can have multiple rooms dedicated to my hobbies. I’m pretty sure all my husband would want is a medium size house with a massive garage on 10+ acres (wooded).
We have never had anything but a main floor master bedroom and we both want that to continue.
flats and bungalows
i like the idea of the community in a flat and having just a smaller space to make my own seems easier - id want a balcony too, just seems like a good time
bungalows - again with the small space, also id like to have one that's out of the way and all
I like housing with rent & bills included I like something according to my income.
Something with land and the home in the middle. A bumper from the chaos of other lives around me. I need that peace.
I prefer mansion type because like…. It’s a mansion
A house. I’m tired of living with people and next to people in apartment buildings or condos
A free standing house with its own yard. No adjoining walls with neighbors.
Small cabin on a wooded lot out of the city
A house in Los Angeles with an open back concept.. with an infinity pool.. over looking the downtown area. Somewhere you can host a lot of good parties
For me its definitely a single family home that's what I grew up in and that's what I'm use to
Have just bought s detached property. Expect it to be my forever home
I like my tiny house out in the middle of nowhere. Where I can walk around outside nude if and when I want to.
