Why so many guys think girls care only about money in relationships and pick guys only because of their money?

Because they don't want to admit to themselves that the reason girls aren't picking them is because they are socially inept entertainment gluttons and crybabies, which they could stop doing at any moment, so they tell themselves the reason women aren't picking them has to do with money, which is largely beyond their control.

Because some guys tend to be more materialistic and have a "everything belongs to me" mentality, so they expect women to be the same. Don't get me wrong, there are some women out there who are all about the same, but it isn't as widespread as some of these guys make it out to be.
