They're the ones voicing that every body's beautiful, that beauty standards are unfair, etc. And besides, women prefer the face over the body, so it's not us that are enforcing these workout regimes

But you can't know for sure. Men care about the way bodies look a lot more than women do, it doesn't really affect us. Yeah it's a plus if he's buff but no girl genuinely expects her men to look like that. I'm not going to pretend that I know anything about your situation but I don't believe you should worry about the way your body looks. Those women could've rejected you for several other reasons
