Is it cheating to still talk to guys/gals online when in a relationship? Is it worse if you have been sexual with them when single?

Whether it is "cheating" is irrelevant, because that often leads to words games about whether something in technically "cheating." What's important is this: is this something that you do openly, with your current partner's full knowledge and acquiescence, or is it something that you feel you must hide from them. Unless you are planning a surprise birthday party, hiding something from your partner means you are violating their trust and their expectations. . . and you know that, don't you?

That's a very good point. My partner knew I spoke to them. Knew I had had "encounters" with them. I told him everyone I spoke to online. I did hide the fact the guys propositioned me tho. Cos I had no intention of cheating and made it clear to the guys. And my partner said he would pretend to me arrange to meet them and best them up if they said anything like that. So I did hide that.

Guys I used to hook up would say "come on. You only live once". I'd say "i won't do that. I don't cheat.". Then we might just have hey how are you convos now and again.

I believe we are all allowed to have friends outside of our primary relationship. Each person has to decide for themselves if it's cheating. If you feel guilty about it, it is probably cheating.

No. He had issue with me talking to guys. He said he wasn't talking to anyone. If he was I wouldn't say he couldn't. I'd probably just expect he tells me a bit about them tho and not act secretive talking to them but do it openly.
