Why do pretty women always date uglier guys?

The first thing people say is money…. but they don’t seem like they have money. They just seem stable average.

Here are the possible reasons (in order)…

1) Many want to control him. They feels that if they have a guy that’s unattractive, he’ll feel just lucky to be with her & he’ll be subservient, not wanting to lose her.

2A) Many women have low self esteem & will never go near a handsome man. They feel as though they don’t measure up to the men’s looks, like, she's out of his league.

2B) They feel that if they have a handsome man & the crap hits the fan, they’ll feel super embarrassed about it. But if an unattractive man were to dump them, cheat on them or get in trouble with the law, etc., it was to almost be expected & it’s not as big a deal. No one is gonna say this about an unattractive guy: “Wow, did you hear that Teri’s drop-dead gorgeous, fiiine man cheated on her, then dumped her?” “Yup, I tried to tell her he was too good to be true...” The woman would have a strong anxiety that she'd be a laughing stock; a fool; the talk of the town for years to come. Every time people bring her up in conversation, it'll be about that one super handsome dude that did her dirty.

2C) How dare he look better than me? I’m not dating him. He's prettier than I am!

3) There are women who have a stigma to handsome men, citing that they were always told at a young age how good looking they were & that they now feel as though they can cruise through life off of their good looks & do as they please because they know they can get women very effortlessly. I saw a YouTube video where 3 women were talking about this very subject. One said the guy wouldn’t show up to events or family functions, another said that her ex didn’t put up any effort in the bedroom, etc.

4) With men not approaching women as much these days & women being the loneliest they’ve ever been, some women will take whatever they can get because they no longer have the pick of the litter.

5) She doesn’t see ugly, she only sees the nice, caring, sweet person inside, etc., etc.

Easy answer. The "ugly' guys are desperate... and will tolerate just about anything, from an attractive woman, just to keep going out with her, probably just short of having her shit on him.

I knew an Average' looking guy that dated AND married a girl that thought her ass was a gold mine, and she walked all over him, and even called him a "moron' in front of others after a Halloween party, with him trying to help her walking down icy snow covered stairs

I invited them to my home in CA when I moved, and she shot off her idiot mouth to me, and I told them to move out the next morning...

A lot of "ugly' men with put up with an asshole attractive woman just because they feel 'lucky' to be going out with her.

People appreciate what is rare. If a woman is good looking and good looking guys are always talking to her, she will appreciate the nice guy or smart guy that is less common than the good looking guy.

Hypergamy. Lets say we have 10 guy and girl. The top 60% of women are willingly to share the 10 guy. The 10 guy values plenitude and variety.

But the 10 girl s not so willing to share a guy at her level. She is better off with an 8 guy who knows he is batting above his grade and doesn't have his pick of 60% of girls. So she dates down while all the other girls are trying to date up.

Plus in any case girls are more beautiful because they spend so much on cosmetics etc. You might find that beautiful girl isn't so beautiful without make up.

Yeah, tbh, they probably end up getting with the guy who has confidence and more social competence. At the end of the day the guy with the balls to approach and simply talk to her is the one who is going to succeed.

Looks don't matter as much as people think for men.
