Why my boyfriend doesn't spend time with me?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for only 2 months now and we meet once a week and when he does, he keeps telling me that he needs to leave early. I try opening up to him but he only spends 1-2hrs before he tells me he needs to leave to do his chores or walk the dog.

It's consistent, has been happening since I met him and it's usually a reason like he needs to walk the dog or watch some tv- usually the early stages of a relationship is where people are most 'infatuated' wirh eachother- it wears off later on. But here, I tell him I miss him and honestly can't wait to meet him next but he on the other hand says he loves me and that's it. Whenever I expect to spend time with him, I feel disappointed.

well it seems very clear that he prefers to spend the majority of his time with other things. you could say, at least he has a live but if you want a partner who lets you be part of more of their life, you should probably adress that and act accordingly (look for another mate).

You’re not a priority. Find someone who will make you a priority. Wouldn’t be surprised if he had another chick on the side. Even if he doesn’t again you’re still not a priority. So either do something about it or don’t complain about it. Hopefully you make the right choice.

I'm exactly the same and that is why I don't date... one has to be honest and know themselves to come to this conclusion though. He's probably doing what society expects him to do. Some guys are afraid of being called gay or ridiculed for not having a girlfriend.

He seems to be very busy, any reason you don’t see each other twice a week? Do you live close to each other? I have some one I see once a week but it’s because we live in different states and it takes 2 hours sometimes to see her but I stay for as long as I can, usually 6 to 8 hours with her before going back.
