She flaked or misunderstood me what should I do next?

I asked my co worker out for lunch, and she said yes. We agreed to meet each other, and I was waiting for her and she was surprised like I never asked and she said:" Oh I can't today lets do another time. I was waiting for it, and when she acted like nothing happened it really made me upset. My question is for you all girls: why would you do such thing, if you don't want me to see you just tell me, why play those games and flake without even telling me. Unless she never understood it was today, but I am sure she did. What should I do next? suppose she is offering a different day, and if not just move on? Honestly I am still trying to understand why she did that.. Is she a player? is she playing games? is she not that intersted? even though I am a guy who doesn't really get exctied from this stuff, this time it was even too much for me... she can speak English but her primary language is Spanish, so I don't know if it was a misunderstanding, but people always tell me when girls want to see you they won't forget or misunderstand you.

Sounds like she didn’t expect for you to follow through with wanting to meet up. People often toss that around loosely but unless you’re following up about the plan, she may not have taken it serious and that’s why she was surprised. I think her lack of effort to schedule something else means that she wasn’t sincere about hanging out and you should just drop it. Sorry for your feelings being hurt but it happens. Best to move on.
