So basically, I was cutting my lawn the other day when my neighbour and her granddaughter (I think its her granddaughter) came out the house and sit in the granddaughters car. I was mowing my lawn with headphones on. I was minding my business, then I glanced over to see the granddaughter staring at me from her drivers seat. At first I thought nothing of it and looked away first and carried on mowing the lawn. Then like 5 minutes later, I glance over again to expect her to have pulled away (in the car), but she was still sat there staring…(with her grandmother in the passenger seat). My drive and the grandmothers drive are toe to toe together, so she was like 4 meters away from me, so these weren’t long distance stares. Now this got me confused because her facial expression (the only way how I can describe it) was a soft gaze, the kind of look you give a friend when they enter a room. I have never spoken to this girl in my life, and was confused why she wasn’t breaking my gaze. This happened 3 times in total, and they were sat in the car at least 20mins.
After I done cutting my lawn I started to think could’ve she been trying to get my attention? but then I thought why would a girl signal a guy when she is in her car sat next to her grandmother... It really didn’t make sense... like what can you do without looking like a LEMON in this situation… walk to the edge of my lawn, smile then signal her to get out the car... it would have just felt awkward, even more so her grandmother was in the car. I would think if she wanted to get my attention, she would at least jumped out the car and stood on the drive instead of staying inside the car.
She looks around early 20’s, and yes I am attracted to her. Though this situation has left me a bit confused.
