I’m starting this off by saying I am not angry with my ex. But we dated for 2.5 years and he refused to work, lived at home, and made little to no money doing odd jobs.

found out recently he’s been with a new girl for about 2 years and now he has a good job, makes a lot of money, and has moved in w his current girlfriend and is helping to support her financially.

im happy for him. But can anyone give insight about how someone people would consider a loser does a complete 180 with a different girl.

Had that with a young ADHD mother of a 2 yr old boy. She was foreign and hadn't had her degree accepted so she had no job, nor a home of her own. She sometimes nagged about my college studies and thought I wouldn't make enough money with it. But what she didn't see was that I was willing to help her wherever possible. Turned out that she was too lazy to even accept my help and ended up quitting with me. About 1-2 years later she seriously ended up with a guy who made her get a job and moved in with her. My good side was happy for her, but my bad side hated how things went.
