Would you be frustrated if your partner doesn't remember/pay attention to what you tell them about your day or general things?

So my boyfriend and I would text/send voice memos to each other and he says he cares about what I have to say and whats going on in my day/ life even if not much is going on. I've noticed is that he doesn't remember/ pay attention to things going on about my day or what I tell him. Sometimes I'm at the point where i don't want to talk much about my day or what's going on in my life because all he talks about his day and what's been going on at work etc. He does sometimes remember and pay attention but i find there's a lot of times where he doesn't pay attention to what i say. I am very patient and understanding but sometimes I get in these moments where there's no point in saying anything because I know sometimes it will go over him and zone out.

Had this with my ex aswell haha its nice of them to talk that much about their day but so much is filler stuff a man would never think of mentioning or noticing. A work day for me was explained in one or two sentences and she could talk 20 min or more about what happend or what colleagues did or not did. And that was just work.

It just feels hard to remember all the small details and nuisances a women notices and talks about and not zone out.

We just work differently, women have a way higher or different social intelligence than men, look it up.

Appreciate that he is interested in you and is trying to take it all in but dont blame him if he can't remember everything or swallows some important bits.
