Do you care if your partner is constantly late to things?

When you agree to meetup and your partner is usually late to those do you care?

Yes its very annoying

It's a dealbreaker for me

Things happen. If someone is late once in a while, that is ok. If, like my sister, they are late to every single thing and very late, not just a few minutes, that is a serious issue and inexcusable. They are saying other people don't matter and they don't care enough to make sure they are on time. If I was dating someone like that, I would not be dating them very long.

Yes. I remember how my husband (before we married) came 5 hours late to our meet up. I waited patiently for him but my patience burned up. I let him have and of course he claimed I was a fool to wait so long and should have done something else without him. Soooo that day I learned I shouldn't wait for him so long. If he takes so long, then gonna give him some time... buuuut if he doesn't come, I dip and I'll see him later.

Yes. It shows a lack of respect for your time. No one is perfect, there is traffic, you got stuck at work, blah, blah, but every time, all the time is different. They need to learn time management because you've made the effort to be there to meet them and they should do the same.

It depends on what they're late to.
If we have a dinner date and I'm waiting 30 minutes in the parking lot or at the table, it might be a deal breaker.
But if we're just hanging out at my house and she's supposed to be there at 8, but she shows up at 9:30, not a big deal as far as I'm concerned. As long as I get an apology at least

At that point I would just tell her we'll have to skip the small talk, because sex is scheduled for 9:30

It is annoying but there's a way to fix this. If the partner is let's say always a half an hour late, tell them to be there a half hour earlier.

Let's say you want to have them come over at 5pm. Tell them 4:30 instead of 5pm. Then they will be on time

I would just tell them how to alter their conditioning. But even if she didn't want to, I wouldn't care. It doesn't mean that much to me. I'd just adjust to it.

Hours late is unacceptable, but a few minutes late no big deal. I would rather they make it a few minutes late, than rush and not make it all.

Well, of course I care I don’t want to sit in the parking lot or the restaurant for an hour by myself holding up a table especially if I’ve got reservations

I think of myself as important meetings like in business so late comings are deal breakers to me. When in relationship. I need your time especially dates. They happen once in awhile
