What to do in this sitaution?

I'm a girl I accidently put that I was a guy but to start of I liked this guy for a year and was at his house for work and I tried to sleep with him by giving him hints. He said he was gonna get something in his room and I went to his room and said "your not gonna give me a tour". I don't think he was feeling it and we ended up not doing anything. I stopped responding to him and about months later he texted me "you look good you should come over" I just texted back "lol" then today he said "I want to take you on a date" and then when he said to come over he was drunk and was forced to by his friends and that he will never send those type of texts and that he actually wants to date me. What should I do?

Umm wow that's a tricky situation girl. A few things to consider:

- He gave mixed signals for sure by backing off that one time you made a move. That would've confused me too.

- The drunk "come over" text wasn't cool, especially after waiting so long to contact you again. Makes it seem like he just saw you as an option.

- But on the other hand, he did apologize and says he genuinely wants to take you on a real date now.

I'd say maybe give him a chance, but protect your feelings too. Go on the date but keep your guard up a little bit. See how he treats you - is he respectful, a gentleman? Pay attention to if his actions match his words this time.

You could also throw in a little "you've got some making up to do after last time" so he knows not to play games! But don't shut it down totally if you still like him - people deserve second chances. Just don't get your hopes up too high yet, feel me? Keep it cool and casual, and don't do anything physically until you get a better read on his intentions. You've got this girl!
