I've been going out for walks, going DT, & anywhere just being open to men. I'll smile and say hi if I think he's attractive. I've had a few men say hi back. One of my male friends said that smiling and saying hi isn't that obvious for men to reciprocate and make the first move. He said I should start the conversations.

Going out on walking trails, would you be open to a woman trying to engage in a short conversation?

What would be helpful for me to show a man I'm interested and open?

How would you be okay with being approached or made obvious that I'm being intentional?

That is good, then you are already doing it well and yes there are men who will appreciate it if a woman takes up the job of pursuing a man. There are men who find this appealing.

It would also depend on type of guy, for example if the guy is of shy type then he would expect the woman to take initiatives and start conversations. There are men who are not good at starting conversations.

Start with a hi, how is your walk etc. Going then be a little forward. I enjoyed talking to and think you are handsome can I have you number if you are single. Guys are made to feel likes creeps a lot of the time so a female being painfully obvious helps.
