We have been friends for 10 months
She is shy but brave to fight it
I am shy but I am starting to come out of my shell
We talk about love and relations and send each other cat memes and we read books about relationships together

I have no idea if she likes me (we both suck at flirting)

What is the best way to tell her I like her and at the same time preserve the friendship

You should just tell her. It is really scary because your relationship will change regardless. I was close friends with my boyfriend prior to us dating. We’ve been together for a few years now. Other relationships the guy wrote a cute note or just told me. There is no one way to do so but I really do think you should try and I hope for the best for you

I think you should talk and tell her how you feel, maybe she feels the same but she is just afraid to admit it. I would like the other person to be direct and open about it even if i didn't like him back i would want to know and then talk it over and fix it.
