Point is, it is the individual. There are incredible women who have gone above and beyond with their scientific endeavors that were shadowed by a male dominated world, there are also smart men whose work goes unnoticed or is under appreciated / not talked about as much as it should. Whatever the case may be, let us set aside gender BS and lift each other up as humanity.

As a guy I will admit there was a female in my class who was better at math than me, now whether or not that was due to my “delays” can be argued, but I will be the bigger man and say she was smarter than me in that regard.

Define smart. This reminds of a high level person who worked for one of the big IQ testing companies. When asked to define intelligence he replied, "It's what IQ tests measure." I thought that was one of the stupidest answers, especially coming from someone in his position. But after thinking about it, I realized that his definition is as good as any other, and better than some.

The thing is, you can define intelligence in so many ways, and measure it in so many different ways, that men would be smarter, or women would be smarter, or elephants, or dogs or trees - with every answer being just as valid as any other.

Well... that depends. On what you mean by "smarter". When it comes to things that involve numbers (ex. the STEM fields) men outperform women. When it comes to figuring out the best way to, for example, get a group of people working together for a common cause, men are (in my experience anyway) absolutely hopeless. Women are better at relating to others and their needs, men are better at relating to inanimate objects and where they go in order to get some machine to work.

Men and women are equally intelligent but in different way. Men are more logical and make better decisions while women are far more likely to make decision based of emotions.

Well... they have found that GENERALLY men tend to be better with spatial sense and pattern recognition while women tend to better with communication and understanding gestures. But there are definitely many women that can beat tons of men at spatial sense and pattern recognition and many men that are better at communicating and understanding verbal cues than women.

Oddly enough, he continued that a females was reported an average of 101. Humm.

On IQ difference this study seems to have done a reasonable job of avoiding selection bias. If 60% of young women go to college and only 40% of boys, then straight from the bell curve you would expect the female population to have lower IQ. Also with greater numbers going to college inevitably college students are gong to be dumber and college degrees dumbed down accordingly

On male and female brain differences, it is not controversial and we see it in every day life. Women are better than men verbally and men are better at finding the car. That men are better at things that count is, of course, a value judgement and reflects my liking of bridges. :)

The man point to me is that evolutionarily it is advantageous that men and women have specialties, as a couple are then more capable than two singles. It is also notable that means don't say anything about individuals. It is just a chess grandmaster is most likely male as is high end mathematician due to male spatial abilities. It is not to say there could not be a female world chess champion. It is just bloody unlikely.
