Is having abs a big deal to women?

my body is normal/bit skinny and I’m over 6 feet. Would getting abs and getting really fit make a difference?

A guy who takes care of himself physically is very important to me, because it affects a lot of other areas. It affects what kind of food he is willing to buy and feed our kids, it affects the kinds of activities and lifestyle we lead as a family, it affects mental health, heart health, etc. There are so many benefits to a healthy lifestyle and mindset that I'd say for me personally, it's kind of a dealbreaker if he doesn't take care of himself physically. Not because he has to have "abs", but because fitness is so much more than looking good.

That being said, I don't think a guy has to be Superman (although, you know...). I think just healthy habits and a basic fitness routine are fine, even if it doesn't mean he's a specimen.

The important thing, though, is no beer gut or obesity. I can't, I just can't... I'm sorry! I know that's so shallow. :(

It's nice candy to the eye.😁 But someday anyone and everyone will lose it, go bald, and get wrinkles. Go for who they are and how they treat you. Someone a bit over weight isn't bad, just to the point where they look like they got extra meat on their bones without being fat/chubby/rotund/chunky. Just that they aren't a slim Jim stick skeleton. I would prefer not obese/fat without flabs of jiggling fat hanging off arms and no muffin top.

It can't hurt... but it will also get u in better shape and strengthen your core. I have good abs but it is not to impress girls it is for fitness and core strength.

It would make you look uglier for sure. Nothing quite shows you waste your time at a gym like "abs".

I probably shouldn't speak on this topic since I've never even dated anyone but many of my friends just prefer normal bodies and not like really jacked and buff guys with abs. I honestly prefer chubby guys with big arms but that's just me. It depends on what kind of girl you're looking for, cause the petite and fit ones tend to go for the guys with abs, the taller and bigger ones go for the skinny guys so yeah, keep that in mind.

Both are nice either way. Abs no abs. As long as you take care of yourself that's all that matters.

doesn't matter what women say, it's how they react that's more important and they do react very positively to abs
