So I have a crush on this guy whom we live in the same apartment unit and we have been seemingly getting close. So the problem comes is that my friend knows that I have a crush on this guy actually scratch that I am in love with him but they hook up now I know we are not dating but couldn’t she at least respect the fact that I like him and the worst part is that she has a boyfriend and her boyfriend told me this and before you judge the guy that I have a crush on he doesn’t know that I like him nor does he know that my friend has a boyfriend. Honestly I feel betrayed even though I am not dating the guy. Is it right for me to feel this way?

Feeling jealous is natural and particularly if your friend started hooking up after she knew your feelings, a sense of betrayal is justified.

I'd feel repulsion toward her that she is hooking up when she has a boyfriend and and I'd wonder at him. Cut her out of your life; don't have friends that are morally repugnant to you.
