Is this cheating?

Is speaking to a new person of the opposite sex through text or Snapchat “ cheating” nothing sexual. Just general speaking. Like what they do for a job , how old they are etc?

It is not cheating but still there could be chances of cheating or making our partner feel insecure so i believe if we do so then...

First, your partner should be okay with it. They should not be having issues with it. It must be acceptable to them that you can do so

Second, he should be knowing whom you are talking to, what are you talking about and there should be no problems in them checking your texts if ever they would feel to. (As this obviously going to make them feel insecure, sometimes negative thought may came it's natural so nothing wrong to clearify it instead of simply having blind trust)

I do believe trust should be doubted/questioned time to time ofcourse so to never get blinded by it but if we trust it could be pure and genuine always.

No. This can't confirm this to me. If I have doubt means I can sense it in other things like through his behaviour, changes, how he is acting towards me. Etc. I can sense it. If I have doubt that he is doing something he is cheating then i do trust my gut feelings and I'm not going to allow him for this. I'll say him to stop. And if he really loves me if he really cares for me he would stop. So that would solve the problem for me.

We are free to set our boundaries and it's totally fine to speak for this or to stop this because as I have told this is not clear cheating but their are chances and also it makes people insecure also it's not like "need". So we can ask our partner to stop this we have all rights to feel secured in relationship. And also this is not like "controlling" as there is genuine reason for this. So it's totally justified.

But in my case I don't have any single friends in my real life and I'm not close to any family members. So when I'm really really really very disturbed I feel to talk to people and then I go for stranger chat. Which I don't like as their are not good people. Most people only try to do sexting etc. So I myself don't like to. But I go only and only in extreme case so I have discussed about this with my boyfriend that what he thinks about it. Does he consider this cheating or not? I wanted to ask how he see this.

And good thing is that we both do have trust on eachother also he knows I'm not that kind person to go behind others to talk what's not allowed. So he said he is ok with it but he wants to know if I did ever he wants to know about that. I should to tell him about it as soon as possible. He wants to know about it. But I'm allowed.

But I'm trying to stop my this habit completely.

Over stranger chat also I do talk only normal talks decent talks I don't do sexting flirting etc ever also never make anyone my friends from there I never talk twice with anyone, i never share my contact with anyone etc these rules I do follow whenever I do/did.

Yeah I get your point. I think it can be good for people to speak to others even with being in a relationship however there is a fine line between a friendship and flirty. But doesn’t help when your partner is a flirty person in general (I am aswell to a degree) don’t mean nothing by it. But he will even send a wink to my sister like as a joke like yeah yeah😉 etc!

Yeh I agree. Flirting is normal in friendship now. But still when it's with me I mean when someone else does to me then I do have a limit and I don't let anyone to go beyond that limit. If they go beyond I don't respond and if still they didn't get my sign I stop them in clear gentle words that I don't like.

But my boyfriend is flirty too by nature and there it comes my trust on him. I know he loves me I know he is completely devoted to me (what he has earned by his actions). I know very well that only I'm his lady so I need not to feel insecure so he has freedom. Also he himself keep control on his own words and actions. The only thing I control that he is not allowed to flirt with my sisters. It's strict NO to me. Even when I know it's just friendly still I'm very much protective kind towards my sisters and so he isn't allowed. Everything else he is allowed as he is himself responsible towards his own actions.

I think you are not okay for him chatting with other person and so I think it's completely fine to ask him to stop it. You need not to overthink about it or for speaking for your own feelings. It is making you feel insecure so it must be stopped. The end. There should not be any argument why why not etc. As this is not "need".
