My hookup promised me sex. As he is an avoidant I know he wouldn’t turn up. Anyways I had the plan of going to a concert and asked to meet him there.

As always he didn’t turn up. While I was enjoying the show he sent me many dms asking if I was alone.

Meanwhile I met a cool guy there and proceeded with him. Soon this guy made a call, I picked and forgot to cut. He also heard the other guy talking to me. from then onn he is cold.

It's not! Hookups or friends with benefits is always, unless otherwise stated between you guys, just that. You don't have to share your actions to them nor can they ask from you anything.

Just like any relationship, if you want to continue seeing him for hookups, communicate this too him. Tell him how he made you feel and you deserve at least respect. If he can't make it, let you know.

As for him being cold, people come with emotions and he is definitely jealous. The reason may not be crystal clear but you can ask him about it if you want. Otherwise, just ignore him and proceed with whomever you want!

It's cheating if the other guy wasn't clear you where looking for a hookup.

However, assuming he was very clear it was for just sex and not a date, and assuming you made a genuine effort to seek him out at the concert (not just couldn't find him so blew him off with a 'he's never here'). Then no, you where just doing what he was clear you would do and by him not going he turned down your offer.

That said, it is kinda uncool. If you arrange a sexual encounter with a particular guy, its at least good form to give them some chance to rectify. Even if its just a message to say "if you tell me where your at here, I'll meet you but otherwise I'll have to make other plans, and you know I'm wanting a hookup".

Ooh, girl, that depends. Cheating is a big word, and what one person sees as a red flag might be totally cool for another couple. It really comes down to the boundaries you and your partner have set. If you're unsure, have an honest conversation about what feels okay and what doesn't. Communication is key!
