Because in my mind it says a lot about your personality and where you're going in your life. You want something so bad and you're willing to do whatever it takes to get there even if it includes short cutting something. What other aspects of your life are you willing to do this in?
That aside have you seen the long-term effects that steroids have on a body? It's not pretty.

Most women I find fuckable would get uglier after steroids, lost tits, voice changes and all that.

When it comes to men, if you're really smart about it you can prevent the side effects, like impulse control if you modulate endorphins, serotonin, dopamine and shit, steroids influence it but you can intervene, and you could even have low libido while on steroids if you block dopamine for example.

Our parents idolized arnold when they were kids, and he's someone they'd think of as typical steroid user, and look, he's still alive, and hasn't gone psycho or anything. And now we know more about steroids and are able to minimize the unwanted effects and maximize the wanted effects.
