Kind of tmi, but periods and dating?

I just started dating this new guy and already cancelled on him once, rescheduled another time and we have only been on 3 dates. He seems to expect to see me every weekend which is kind of becoming a lot for me. Tmi but I'm getting my period this weekend and I don't know if it would be weird to tell him that? Or how to? Because it's probably hit or miss if I'm gonna be up for another date this weekend

If you don’t set boundaries now, then you’ll always be on his time and not yours. If hanging out every weekend is a bit much, he won’t know unless you tell him. Maybe this means you try to arrange for a date during the weekdays if that works for you, some sort of compromise. If he can’t accommodate and can only do weekends then you might wanna move on now while it’s still easy vs later once you have feelings and form an attachment.

I think it's fine to tell him. Grown men shouldn't be grossed out by the mere mention of a woman's period. Just say something like "well it's that time of the month for me soon so I might not feel up to going out this weekend." He should understand and not question it further.
