1. There's nothing to be grossed out about when it comes to periods. It's a natural process that girls go through every month. And if anyone makes fun of you for it or thinks it's dirty, then they're the stupid ones.

Most stupid people still think it's a taboo topic to talk about, which is probably the reason why the topic of menstruation is never discussed in places like schools or even sometimes in homes, when this couldn't be further from the truth. Your kids, boys and girls both NEED to know about their bodies and they NEED to know about it at an early age. Thinking that sex talk is dirty and not educating your kids about it is one of the worst mistakes an adult can make.

And not just for my S/O either, I remember there was one time when my little sister had broken her leg in an accident and couldn't walk so she asked me to get her a pack of pads from the pharmacy down from my house. The shopkeeper kept giving me dirty glances and joking why I'm buying this, and I straightened him out the only way I knew how. He immediately apologized.
4. It's a regular discharge of blood from a girl's vagina. The correct word is menses or menstruation, and it can start happening as early as the age of 12-13 or eve 8 years in a girl. During a period, a girl usually can't get pregnant and they can experience mood swings and strange cravings because it also invokes hormonal changesand imbalancement - which is again normal. Might help having a hot water bottle under your tummy to soothe the cramps and a bucket of chocolate ice cream.
5. It varies from girl to girl when they may be on their period, but I think age and diet probably has a hand in that. So yeah, unless a girl doesn't tell us they're on their period, we'll most likely never know.

It's usually no advised to have sex with a girl who's on her period, not just because it can be painful for her, but also because the period blood can have antibodies which can spread STIs or sexually transmitted infections to and fro between you too. Probably best not to have intercourse until her cycle's complete. But that doesn't mean you can't do other intimate things, like cuddling, kissing or making out.

4. It's a menstrual cycle. There are 4 phases of it. Each one lasts a week and nearly every girl on the planet has had them. The one that we CALL, "her period", is when her body is expelling the egg from her uterus within the blood lining that was coating the inside of her uterus in order to make a soft place for the egg to rest, in wait for Mr. Sperm to come along and fertilize it. So, the blood drips out of her vaginal opening for about 5 days or so and the uterus gets a new lining of blood for the next egg to rest on. why she can't just keep that one egg up there until it's fertilized is beyond me!! Seems like a waist of hundreds of perfectly good eggs and gallons of blood, if you ask me!! Not to mention all that cotton!!
5. No, only when you tell me you're on your period, unless I happen to see used tampons or their wrappers, in the waste basket. Otherwise, I can only guess by how bitchy you are.
6. A period sex? What's that? If you mean, fucking her when the red river is flowing, not at all. In fact, if you let the blood dry on your dick, it makes a really nice, smooth, velvety coating! I can only guess that's what it was like in her uterus until the dam burst.

(1.) Not really, I have strong stomach and the sight or smell of blood doesn't really freak me out after years of wrestling in high school.
(2.) Also not really, though unless there's something I can do about it I don't expect it to be a conversation point any more than say, knee pain or any other sucky bodily pain.
(3.) Yes, but you're going to have to be very specific about what brand/type you want and I would prefer if it is something I can buy in bulk.
(4.) Starting with menarche it is the female releasing an egg (rarely more!) to be fertilized but fails leading to the release of the egg and built up nutrient material from the womb. This is referred to as a "period" since it occurs in roughly a regular interval, unlike other mammals which may have fertile seasons vs not.
(5.) Small behaviorial changes usually clue in.
(6.) My previous 2 exes wanted me nowhere near that area during said time of the month. I wouldn't be grossed out if using a condom but it's probably going to leave a mess.

Well, every female is different. I can sometimes tell if my mom is on one or not by the way she acts. I notice that when girls are usually more moody, aggressive, sad, or just acting different they are maybe on their period.

Well, this question honestly comes to opinion. I would personally not like having sex with a woman on her period. I feel as if it would hurt them and that would turn me off. I wouldn't want blood with sex.

I think this is something that is, whether you like it or not. If you could find a way to end them, you would be putting a halt to the very process that makes you (Females) attractive. My friends with benefits unexpectedly got her period a few days early when she visited me last week. It was the day after we had sex.

Yes men are aware of female bodily functions. Just give us the bare info necessary but most of us don’t care to hear the unnecessary details. Done it many times. In fact, I have a "ladies" drawer in the master bathroom which has everything needed... all new and unopened. Once something is opened, I throw it away (leave no trail)

I don’t care about your period, it doesn’t gross me out, I don’t mind discussing it. Sure I’d but tampons or whatever. Sex is not a problem at all, even oral sex is not a problem for me. Bottom line, anything related to your period does not bother me in any way, and yes I know when my wife is on hers.
I think they are vital piece f punctuation. They do a better job of separating independent clauses than any other diacritic mark. I've enthusiastically gone down on girls who were having their periods though I usually try to avoid the heaviest days. Many women seem hornier when they have their periods

Periods are a natural occurrence. It doesn't bother me. All women get them. I have bought pads and tampons for my wife and daughter before, it's no big deal. I can tell by now when my wife and daughter will be getting their periods. It didn't stop us from having sex when my wife had her period.
