I dated lots of guys but I’m so lonely. They want to have sex. They want to have a relationship. I want them to work for me maybe because of that I’m so long. What can I do?

It sounds like you've been attracting the wrong kind of guys just looking to hook up. That's super lame and will always leave you feeling empty inside. You need someone who wants to know the real you, not just your body.

Don't settle just to not feel lonely. That will only make it worse in the long run, trust. I say take a break from dating apps or whatever and just focus on yourself and your friends for a while. Doing things you love is the best way to meet cool people naturally.

Also don't be afraid to be picky either! Weed out anyone who's not willing to earn your time and trust from the start. The right person will think you're amazing just as you are and WANT to get to know you, not expect something in return.

It's just like attending an alumni party: we may "know" most of the people who are ex classmates, but after the party ends the loneliness returns.

Same as having hundreds, even thousands of "Friends" in social media. It never remove loneliness.

Having many sex partners or "romantic acquaintances" do not satisfy the need for deep friendship, community living, social engagement and unselfish giving.

Hence go beyond "win-win" business-like friends with benefits relationship.

Seek out a guy who share same interests as you. Willing to share deep-seated emotions beyond "hello let's fuck and good bye". And one who is willing to listen to you expressing your deepest desire, and then respond with empathy and compassion.

These may perhaps help you feel less lonely. Find one such friend. It's better than a hundred friends with benefits.

You're not giving yourself the chance to meet a nice, valuable guy. You're just giving yourself up to... whomever. How do you think that will get you anything more than sex?

By itself sex doesn't fill any relationship needs. People are social creatures. If you're only going for the sex and expecting it to fulfill your social/relationship needs you'll always feel lonely.

Stop having random sex. Read a few books on the topic and start building a healthier sense of self-worth, personal and shared values as they apply to building a healthy relationship, and the meaning of sexual connection within a loving relationship.
