I heard in some cultures and traditions some guys prioritize work over social or dating life simply because it holds more importance to them, his parents or father was probably that way as well. This can sometimes make it much more difficult to have clear communication in terms of building a relationship with them. Doesn't mean all guys in certain cultures and traditions are like this, im just saying some can be.
