You think successful women earned their arrogance?
Successful men are usually arrogance, given their success, (married a rich guy, etc)
1 yEvery truly successful person I have ever met has had a positive mindset and been excited to share their story and insights with me. I've never met one that was arrogant. They are always wonderful, encouraging people. They won't flatter you, however. They will ask questions that may be difficult to answer if you haven't actually thought it through. That is a powerful way to learn and grow, if you're willing to swallow your pride.
The only people I've met that are arrogant are the ones who feel like they still aren't enough. Those people feel a need to flaunt their status to receive validation that they have "made it". Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a person who still needs to diminish others as successful. I view them as still dealing with trauma from middle school cliques. I have compassion for them, because they are limiting their potential.
So, successful women arrogant? Maybe fresh out of college with a cool job. But eventually they have to balance out if they are going to truly be successful, because no one in the workforce wants to help a snob climb the ladder.

1 yWhy do you equate successful people with arrogance? Or is that just your perception because you’re unable to have what they have, so naturally you assign a negative label to a successful person to justify your disdain?
Are there arrogant rich people? Sure. But a lot of self made millionaires get to where they’re at by working hard, developing networks, bettering themselves and investing- not just their money- but their TIME. Some of the rich are actually quite honest, open minded, hard working and motivated people; behaviors I wouldn’t attribute as being “arrogant”

1 yThis is a tough one.
You should always strive to be humble as possible. But there's also a point where you need to be a little arrogant for various reasons not limited to the fact that when you're successful, you're usually busy enough that you can't deal with everyone's crap and being an arrogant jerk at the right time can save you so much time, so many headaches.
So yea they've earned it but I think lots of people not just women take it too far and it ultimately holds them back in every facet of life.

Success, regardless of gender, does not justify arrogance. While confidence and pride in achievements are natural and positive, arrogance can be off-putting and undermine relationships and professional environments. Successful women, like anyone, may face significant challenges and biases, and their accomplishments deserve recognition and respect. However, true leadership and respect come from humility, empathy, and the ability to inspire others. Celebrating achievements with grace and acknowledging the contributions of others often leads to more lasting and meaningful success. Arrogance can diminish one's achievements and alienate potential allies and supporters.

I think what you actually mean by this question is is anyone entitled to arrogance and the answer is no. Nobody is entitled to arrogance. People become arrogant I think inadvertently since it is not looked upon fondly or charitably by others.
Some people mistake arrogance for confidence but the two things are not at all the same. Confident people have no need to be arrogant. Arrogant people are often not confident and disguise the lack of confidence with arrogance.10 Reply
1 yarrogance is toxic and has no gender... every arrogant person is to be kept at a distance...
but most of the successful women have this natural confidence30 Reply
1 yNo. Arrogance, entitlement, ego are all disgusting traits for a woman to have. Sadly, many women gladly embody these traits and never realize how masculine it makes them. A college degree and a job does not make you a high-value woman contrary to what many women think.

1 yThey often are beneficiaries of DEI. Just ask Kamala Harris. They might be “somewhat” smart but they rarely are truly equal to the men in their same position. But they get promoted fast by corporations and government institutions who wanted the holy badge of being “gender equal”.
Anyway these women are being told they are “special” and that’s where a lot of arrogance comes from. Men who really earn it usually gain humility in the process. Not all but a lot of them.

1 yI suppose they have earned it, to some degree. But, they should also understand how to be humble when they do finally meet a guy who blows them out of the water.
A huge part of life is recognizing when it's a good idea to shut up and learn something.

Anonymous(25-29)1 yi don't think successful women are any more arrogant than successful men. Its just that men complain that successful women are arrogant because men operate based off of their EGO. Men are more egotistical than women. Thats why they have such a HARD TIME dating a woman who is more successful than him. Chances are, there is nothing wrong with her. There is something wrong with him
10 ReplyI don’t see why a woman would be arrogant about her success. A woman is valued 95% based on her beauty not her success. And I’m not being sexist I’m stating facts.
An ugly man can be high valued and get a hot wife if he’s successful. An ugly woman can’t get a hot trophy husband based on her success!00 Reply- 2.1K opinions shared on Dating topic.
1 yNo one should be arrogant. However, success does tend to correlate to arrogance/ego. People tend to think they're better than you when they have more money or have a more luxurious lifestyle.
10 Reply 3.6K opinions shared on Dating topic. Nobody should be arrogant it's not an attractive trait being humble is ways better, I avoid any men or women that are arrogant. They're most likely to be cheaper and not honest.

00 ReplyMany let's just not normalize arrogance? Like, for anybody of any gender? It's not like "oh yes, I'm finally making six figures, now I get to be more of an a-hole to people!"
